Face Shape.
QUESTION: Hi. I'm a mother of two very young children. I no longer have the time to spend on my face and most especially my hair. Recently going through old photographs I discovered my hair is the exact same way that it was in high school (13 yrs ago). Not only did it depress me, it scared me.. Do you have any helpful tips for a 30 something year old with long thick hair and a round face that is easy to manage.. HELP!!!!

Troubled Hair.
QUESTION: I have hair just passed my shoulders & I have had it permed for the last 11yrs. Well When I get bored with it I use a straightening iron on it. oh I also had it highlighted the year before last. Now it's breaking off all over & has split ends - bad!!!! My hair is looking pretty bad now. Is there anything I can buy to help my hair? It's not growing, well it doesn't look like it. I have had the same length hair for 6 yrs. now & I don't want to cut it. I want it to grow out to about my waistline. Any advice? Please just help!!!! > > Thanks, > Mother of 5!
ANSWER: Hi, Here is your answer from the professional, please remember that this is their professional opinion: Obviously healthy hair grows very fast and since your hair is not growing fast there may be a small problem. We recommend not using a straightening iron to straighten your hair unless it is a VERY special occasion. Using a hot iron on your hair is like using a clothing iron on your hair. If you must use a straightening iron on your hair again please use a Thermal Protector, like the ABBA Sets. In the future if you want to staighten your hair use J.F. Lazartigue Straightening Gel with a round brush and blow dry. Coloring and Perming? Choose either one but not both as this will continue to keep your hair from growing properly. Doing both overworks your hair and is not good for it. Once you have chosen which one you will do use a Deep Conditioner at least once a week. Help me please....
QUESTION: I just came back from my hairdresser, told him i had wanted a touchup on my highlights (blonde) that were growing out, somehow he ended up coloring all my hair the growout color which is dark..........i am about to cry and my fiance is goign to freak! we are leaving tomorrow am to go to see his mother for mothers day and i need to fix this....is there a product i can purchase at a salon to do my own highlights or lighten this?? please oh please help me........ thank you.
ANSWER: We have consulted and came up with good news. Your hair is not ruined and can be corrected. The bad news is you must find the best colorist in your area to repair the color-job. If you decide to try and correct this own your own you run a risk of further damage. Our advice is to contact an expert colorist in your area to correct the color-job.
