GREETINGS! Like many of you, I've ushered in 2003 with lots of New Year's Resolutions. Some I'll keep adn others, as usual, will fall the waste side. One idea that I have given some serious thought to lately, is how to make my beauty and health routines more simple, honest and natural. While I take both seriously, I want them to be fun, enjoyable experiences. Standing in the middle of the cosmetic and fragrance aisles of a busy department store, this seems like an impossible task: so many choices, many based more on "hype" than truth! Glitzy packaging that surely costs more than the produced, strong perfumes making treatment products smell like bubble bath, each counter saleswomen beckoned with an overpriced, heavily advertised beauty product. I was tired of being sucked into this commercialism. Why was honesty, simplicity and good information so hard to find at a cosmetic counter?
